On Friday, 8th November, Natural World Products hosted the inaugural Community Roots event at the Brink site, part of Belfast Stories, a hands-on celebration of sustainable practices and community-driven change. Hosted by Natural World Products, Ireland's leading organics recycling company, the event showcased the positive impact of organic recycling in supporting local food systems, community health, and small businesses. The day featured a series of hands-on workshops, live demonstrations, and interactive activities, each designed to educate and inspire attendees about the benefits of green compost and organic recycling. Participants learned first-hand how Natural World Products' high-quality compost is helping local gardens flourish, supporting small businesses, and contributing to a healthier environment.

In addition to learning about sustainable practices, attendees enjoyed wholesome food grown directly in compost-enriched soil at our community allotment in Colin Glen. The shared meals fostered lively conversations and deepened connections, embodying the spirit of collaboration at the heart of the Community Roots event. Throughout the morning, visitors also participated in interactive workshops where they learned how to grow food using compost, participated in compost demonstrations, and heard from Natural World Products staff about the processes and connections brought about through recycling and compost.
