Best of the West Awards 2024

The Best of the West Awards is an annual event celebrating the diverse range of businesses and services in West Belfast. Hosted by Belfast Media Group at the Balmoral Hotel on 21 June, local companies sponsor the event, and the winners are decided by public vote.

Through our community outreach team, Natural World Products supports many schools, charities, and community gardening projects in the West Belfast area. We were proud to sponsor ‘Best Community Garden ‘.

Gortnamona Mens Shed, Colin Community Allotments, Bog Meadows Wildlife Garden, The Heart Project at the Maureen Sheenan Centre, and Foodstock School Greenhouse Project were the nominees.

The winners, as pictured, were the Gortnamona Men’s Shed, who, with a bit of support, have taken their growing game and their community garden from strength to strength.

Sharon Mc Master, Community Outreach Manager at NWP and Biruk Sahle, attended the event and presented the award.
